GROWING IN GRACE

Plains Church has grown from the original 27 founding members to nearly 400 communing and non-communing members today; however, numerical growth is not the ultimate sign of growth for a church.  Growth in the life of a believer, and in the life of a church, occurs as the Holy Spirit transforms us in Christ-likeness.  Throughout its history, Plains Church has pursued this growth through its commitment to the biblical truths proclaimed during the Protestant Reformation.  Growth occurs as we are transformed by the gospel message of salvation by Grace Alone, through Faith Alone, in Christ Alone.  We believe the system of doctrine taught in the Bible is summarized well in the Westminster Confession of Faith with the Larger and Shorter Catechisms.
